[Oacrao-l] Internship Policy

Hi, Chelsea. Several of our programs offer internships. Some are required in the major and receive a letter grade while others are electives and can be taken pass/no pass. Typically they are for three credit hours but a student can complete more than one and use the additional hours as open electives. All of the courses require instructor permission and the site must be approved. I know that there are site hour standards for the number of credits they are earning but I'm unsure as to what those are.

Do any of you have internship policies you wouldn't mind sharing?  I'm looking for things like, how many internship hours = how many credit hours, maximum number of internship credit hours allowed, etc.  Thanks in advance!!
