What does everyone set as the last date to change a class to 'AUDIT'  from the State regents policy:

AU Audit status is used for a student who is not interested in obtaining a course grade, but who is enrolled to get course content knowledge. The allowable time to change an enrollment status from audit to credit will be established by each institution but may not exceed the institution's add period and must be consistent with the State Regents' add period, which is defined as the first two weeks of a regular semester/term and the first week of a summer semester/term. Students who change their enrollment status from audit to credit must meet institutional admission/retention standards, as set by the State Regents. The allowable time to change an enrollment status from credit to audit will be established by each institution, but will not exceed the institution's last date for withdrawal from classes. An AU is GPA neutral.

The University of Tulsa allows a change to audit up through the end of the third week of classes.  That is the same as our last day to drop a class or to change to pass/fail.

Our Admissions Office would like to look at some students from this school but they said their transcripts are all narrative. OSU-Stillwater is meeting with Odyssey to see if we can get a breakout of what the narrative paragraphs mean. We are admitting these students on the ACT or SAT assured criteria or putting them through our alternative/holistic process.

I'm not sure what an Academic Notice is for sure.

We post Probation notations

Dismissal
Suspension
Placed on Probation
Continued Probation
Admitted on Probation

We used to have an Academic Warning that was sent to the student but not notated on the transcript. We no longer do that.

We also have a policy to post disciplinary notations.

If you need anything else, please let me know.

At Southeastern, we do not record Academic Notice on the transcripts.   We send them a notification that they are on notice and what that means.

At Oral Roberts we only post Suspension, and Probation on the transcript. We don't post a notice, but our office of Student Success and Retention does notify students that are "on notice".

Holly,
We have a batch process at the end of final grades that prints mailers for Academic Notice and Academic Probation. A batch process also puts a comment on the transcript for ONLY Academic Probation. After I review a report, the mailers are sent home.

Today we heard about TEL Library, who is offering concurrent classes at Pawhuska High School next semester. I assume they are also offering at other schools.

We dug into their website and found this FAQ page https://tellibrary.org/faq/. FAQ21 says, "How will I know if the courses taken through TEL Library will be accepted at universities for transferable credit? When reaching out to universities, students will be transferring transcripted college credit from Excelsior College, a regionally accredited college in New York (accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education - https://www.excelsior.edu/about). While we are offering the course, as far as universities are concerned, they will receive a transcript from Excelsior."

Does anyone know anything about this?
