[Oacrao-l] Call for annual fall conference facilitators

Happy Thursday everyone!

It's hard to believe our annual fall conference is almost here! As you know, it is less than 2 weeks away now: October 14th - October 15th, 2019 at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond.  It's not too late to register for Camp OACRAO! If registered by tomorrow, Friday October 4th, the rate is only $100, but it will be $150 if registered after October 4th. As you can see, we've got some great sessions planned!  Consequently, we are in need of facilitators to help manage the sessions.

Please consider serving as a facilitator for one or more sessions at the fall conference!  The tasks associated with this role include:


  1.  Confirm the session location and ensure presenters are in place prior to the start of the session
  2.  Introduce the session and the presenter
  3.  Remind attendees to complete a session evaluation and deliver those evaluations to the EC members at the registration table after the session.

Please notify me or President-Elect Jill Lindblad (jhibblen at uco.edu<mailto:jhibblen at uco.edu>) if you are willing to assist as a session facilitator and we will contact you directly with more information.  If you have one or more in mind that you may already be planning to attend, we'll assign it to you as best we can (first come, first served).  Your facilitation helps us remain on time and on task. Please feel free to contact either of us, or any member of the Executive Committee, if you have any questions about facilitating a session.
