CALL FOR PROPOSALS



The 2022 Oklahoma Statewide Transfer Student Success Conference planning committee invites submissions for transfer-focused breakout sessions for our 2nd annual conference on October 18th, 2022.

Transfer student success is a shared responsibility among our institutions, communities, and organizations. We encourage our colleagues from across the state to share best practices, programmatic information, and other insights you may have learned about transfer student success. There are numerous topic options that span the full transfer student lifecycle; however, all conference sessions should prioritize evidence-based and culturally relevant practices and align with at least one of the following broad session themes:

  *   Credits and Degree Pathways
  *   Diversity and Inclusion
  *   Leadership and Strategic Planning
  *   Matriculation Trends and Issues
  *   Partnerships and Collaboration
  *   Special Populations
  *   Transition Programs and Supports

This year's event includes nine breakout sessions and three collaborative sessions. The deadline to submit proposals has been extended to Friday, September 2nd, 2022 at 5:00 PM.

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July.

In preparation for our meeting in a couple of weeks, I wanted to remind folks about our proposal submission deadline of July 15th. As of today, we have received one proposal for the breakout sessions. I suggest we push out the deadline to the 22nd.

I would very much appreciate some assistance in getting the word out about the need for presentations for the conference. Please forward the attached pdf and the below email to your various contacts, institutions, emails lists, etc.
