[Oacrao-l] Academic Standings Question

Good morning all,
If your transfer students do not meet the retention standards at your institution and therefore are admitted on a probationary basis, do you put them on an "Admitted on Academic Probation" status and post it to their transcript or do you not apply an academic standing until the end of the first semester?
