[Oacrao-l] Developmental/Remedial/Zero-Level Coursework question

Hello, Dustin!

Here is how USAO handles zero-level/remedial coursework.


  1.  Do you count these hours in total hours attempted? Historically, no we have not. But in the move from Jenzabar to Ellucian Colleague, we have decided to include them in attempted hours. This fall will be the first term to do so.
  2.  Do you count these hours in total hours earned? No, they do not count in hours earned.
  3.  For transfer work, do you even transcript these courses? Yes, I do transcript transfer remedial courses. However, if the course was graded A-F at the original institution, I translate that to an RP or RF so that it will not be included in hours earned in our system.
