Our citizenship status options are Non-Resident Alien, Resident Alien, Unknown, and Citizen. We categorize our undocumented students as Unknown.

Good Afternoon.

I am reaching out for some feedback on what other institutions are doing.  For background, our institution is evaluating our drop-down menu for citizenship status in our SIS and how we classify different types of students.  I have two questions.


  1.  What options does your institution have for citizen status?
  2.  How do you categorize undocumented students?
