Hello, OACRAO!

This is a question for Banner institutions and deals with repeats for undergraduate students.

We are currently working with Ellucian to build rules in SHARPTR that will automatically check for repeats.

When it comes to the state guidelines, our undergraduate students can repeat a course as many times as they'd like, but only the highest grade of the first four attempts is counted, and the others excluded.
Any attempts beyond the four are included in the student's GPA.

Do any of you interpret the guidelines in a similar way to us, and if so, have you been successful in building rules, or are you and/or your advisors checking manually?
