Hi Brad,

Interesting - the course in question here is also online Microbiology from Portage. I did see that it is not accredited by the Higher Learning Commission but does have Middle States accreditation. We've been getting asked about a lot of these kinds of classes lately.

Funny you should ask.  We have a student asking about a class from there as well.  From what I have been able to ascertain, it appears to have a partnership with Geneva College.  Both are located in Beaver Falls, PA.  On the Geneva College and Portage websites, they say that Portage is kind of like an online  platform that Geneva uses and students will receive transcripts directly from Geneva College.
The particular class in question from Portage for us is BIOL271 (Microbiology w/ lab).  This course ID number matches the course ID that Geneva College uses for that class as well.
