[Oasfaa] OTAG - 2005-2006 Awards Disbursed at End of Year

Attached for your information is a spreadsheet that compares each institutions 2005-2006 end of year OTAG disbursement totals with 2004-2005.  You will notice that the number of awards for 2005-2006 is higher for many institutions while the total dollars disbursed may not be comparably higher.  Keep in mind that in 2005-2006, we awarded additional students for the spring semester only.

VERY IMPORTANT:  If you are aware of any additional OTAG funds that you will be returning for late 2005-2006 disbursement cancellations, PLEASE contact me right away.  We are working on our end of year reporting for federal LEAP/SLEAP, and as related to you in earlier communications, we are in a position to have to return some of the SLEAP funds that we expended in 2005-2006.  This is the result of our inability to meet state funds matching requirements on expenditures due to some late and quite significant refunds we received for spring semester disbursements.  If there are any additional 2005-2006 OTAG funds to be returned to us for cancellations, those refunds will have an affect on the amount of SLEAP funds we must return, and we need to be made aware of them now.
