Fellow members of SWASFAA,

This note comes at the request of 2007 association 
President Jackie Lachapelle and constitutes a reminder 
that it is definitely still possible and very much 
encouraged to volunteer for service on a SWASFAA 
committee.  All are encouraged to visit our web site at 
www.swasfaa.org and click on the volunteer form link that 
can be found in the lower left hand corner of the home 
page.  The personal and professional growth that one can 
experience through such involvement are truly immense and 
we hope you'll volunteer soon!

As you consider with which SWASFAA committee you might 
prefer to serve, please do also make note of the following 
request for a volunteer from the NASFAA Graduate and 
Professional Issues Committee.  If you would like to be 
considered for this unique opportunity, please do contact 
Jackie at jlachape at lsue.edu very soon so that she can 
communicate with Mr. Severs.

Subject: Need help finding a SWASFAA GPIC Member

David and Jacqueline: I need your help in finding a 
replacement member from SWASFAA for the Graduate and 
Professional Issues Committee.  It will require someone 
from a school with graduate programs and who can attend 
the February meeting.  The meeting is being held February 
23rd and the morning of the 24th.  February 22nd would be 
a travel day.
