[Oasfaa] Vicki update

WONDERFUL NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Vicki is being released from the
hospital today!!!!!

After 51 days of being sick and 43 days in the hospital you can only
imagine how thrilled she is!!!!

 

She will have another plasma exchange today before she is released.  Has
an appointment with the Hematologist/Oncologist on Wednesday and will
have another plasma exchange on Thursday.  From what we were told last
week, she will have labs drawn at least once a week, then see the doctor
and will do plasma exchanges as needed.

 

The fluid is coming off slowly but is coming off...this could take up to
6 weeks to happen per the doctors.  

 

Please understand that she has a very long road ahead and will still
need many thoughts and prayers!!!

 

Steve's parents will continue to live there for the next few weeks.  By
then the kids will be out of school and will be home to help and Vicki
should have some strength by then as well.
