Hello Everyone,
A quick reminder for those of you who have registered for the training
this Friday. We are maxed out on space!! If everyone who has registered
(130 of you) shows up, all of the seats will be taken.
Below are the workshop details if you have misplaced them. Attached are
two things. First is a map to the site. It's really easy to find. Take
the Hudiburg Drive Exit off of I-40 and go north past the Tom Steed
Center (where we've had a number of workshops), keep going past the
Student Center (where we've had a few smaller workshops) and you will
see the new Training Center on your right. It's a two story building;
you can't miss it. Well, there are a couple of you who are directionally
challenged and could miss it, but I won't embarrass you by mentioning
your names!
The second attachment is an agenda if any of you need to have one for
your boss or Business Office. The OSAFAA website also has workshop
information which you print off.
Jonna, Myrna and Nancy are working very hard to prepare themselves for
this training opportunity. We really think you will find it helpful.
One last thing. Your handouts are designed for a three ring binder if
you'd like to bring one. Years ago when I attended one of the workshops
I forgot to bring a binder. I was sitting next to a "seasoned" financial
aid director. At one point in the training, I was not understanding the
material and turned to him and asked if he understood what was being
said. He observed that I had not brought a binder and dryly said, "Sure,
I understand it very clearly and if you had brought a three ring binder
like you were suppose to, you'd understand the material as well!" So,
just keep that in mind for Friday's training. :-)
Be safe and we'll see you on Friday.
Larry
