COORDINATOR/TALENT SEARCH

 

Salary:  Commensurate with education and experience (Range
$2,275-2,920/mo.)  

 

Duties & Responsibilities:  

*       Responsible for the implementation of the goals and objectives
of Educational Talent Search, a federally-funded Department of Education
grant program.

o       Recruit students to participate in the program.

o       Provide academic, cultural, career and development services to
students.

o       Help students plan their future educational endeavors.

*       Act as a liaison between the target schools and post-secondary
institutions.

o       Assist students with applications to post-secondary
institutions.

o       Assist students with completion of the Free Application for
Federal Student Aid.

o       Assist students with enrollment in the Oklahoma Higher Learning
Access Program.

 

Basic Qualifications:

*	Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
*	Two years experience working with low-income, first-generation,
or minority students.
*	Experience working with students from a diverse background.
*	Knowledge of collegiate academic and financial aid processes.
*	Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
*	Must have a valid driver's license.
*	Experience with the TRiO programs or experience as a participant
in a Talent Search program preferred.
