Dear OASFAA:
 
I wanted to let everyone know that the new OASFAA website is up and
running at www.oasfaaok.com ( http://www.oasfaaok.com/ ).   If you go to
the old site, you should be redirected to the new homepage.  We want to
extend a huge thanks to the University of Oklahoma for hosting the
OASFAA website over the past several years.  We appreciate all the work
they did to keep OASFAA online.
 
We have also created a new email address that will be used to send out
the voting ballot for our election.  This email address is
contact at oasfaaok.com.  Please add this to your do-not-block list so
your email system does not think it is spam.  Someone will check this
email account on a regular basis, but do not hesitate to email me or any
of the OASFAA board members directly.  
 
We will continue to add content to the new website, so please keep
checking back.  We are currently working on updating the membership
directory with everyone’s contact information.   All the regular school
members (anyone from a financial aid office who has attended one of the
last three conferences) should now be included in the directory.  If
your information has been posted incorrectly, please let me know and I
will correct it.  I will work on adding the associate membership (the
vendors) to the directory as soon as I can.  We wanted the directory to
include non-OASFAA members of the Oklahoma financial aid community as
well, so if you want to be added, please send me your name, institution,
title, address, phone and fax numbers, and your email address.
 
To find archived documents, such as the helpful charts that our friend
Pam McConahay provides every year, click on the Inside OASFAA link on
the top menu, then click Archived Documents on the left-hand menu.  This
is where I have added the volunteer form for those of you who want to be
involved and did not have a chance to complete the volunteer form at
last spring’s conference.  Please fax these volunteer forms to me as
soon as possible at 405.717.4392, and I will forward them to the
appropriate committee chair(s).  Thank you to all of you who have
already volunteered.  Your names have been forwarded to the committee
chairs.
 
I hope you are off to a great year.  I look forward to seeing everyone
at decentralized training on October 10.
