This below information was provided by Cynthia Thornton, 
FSA Trainer, regarding upcoming FSA Webinars. For more 
information see recent electronic announcements dated

I. Grants: 

HEOA Changes to Pell Grant and TEACH Grant Programs and 
ECASLA Changes to ACG and National SMART Grant Programs:

The training is intended for all schools that participate 
in the ACG, Pell Grant, National SMART Grant, and TEACH 
Grant programs. We will present this information in a 90-
minute session and will offer the session on five 
different days to provide ample opportunity for those 
interested in attending. 

The schedule is as follows: 
         Wednesday, May 6, 2009, 1:30 P.M. (ET)
         Wednesday, May 13, 2009, 12:00 P.M. Noon (ET) 
         Wednesday, May 20, 2009, 1:30 P.M. (ET) 
         Thursday, June 4, 2009, 11:30 A.M. (ET)
         Tuesday, June 9, 2009, 11:30 A.M. (ET) 

II. Loans:

We are pleased to announce instructor-led, online training 
that will focus on changes to the Federal Family Education 
Loan (FFEL) and William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan 
(Direct Loan) programs made by the Higher Education 
Opportunity Act (the HEOA), Pub. L. 110-315. The training 
is intended for all schools that participate in the FFEL 
and Direct Loan programs.

The schedule is as follows:
         Thursday, April 30, 2009, 3:00 P.M. (ET)
         Wednesday, May 13, 2009, 2:00 P.M. (ET)
         Tuesday, June 2, 2009, 1:00 P.M. (ET)
         Monday, June 8, 2009, 12:00 P.M. Noon (ET) 

III. Town Hall Question and Answer Session:

We are pleased to announce our Town Hall Meeting on the 
Higher Education Opportunity Act (the HEOA), Pub. L. 110-
315. This will be a live Internet broadcast during which 
we will answer questions related to the HEOA. The HEOA was 
enacted on August 14, 2008 and reauthorizes the Higher 
Education Act of 1965, as amended (the HEA).

Federal Student Aid trainers will present the questions 
and answers in the 90-minute meeting on Thursday, May 21, 
2009 at 1:30 P.M. (ET).
