[Oasfaa] PLUS-Loan Auction

Good afternoon,
 
As many of you are aware, NASFAA has urged Congress to delay the implementation of the Competitive Loan Auction Pilot Program for PLUS borrowers.  Many of the state financial aid associations have also written to Congress, asking them to reconsider the PLUS-Loan Auction Pilot.  After some discussion among the OASFAA executive board, we decided to send the attached letter to the Oklahoma national delegation.  The letter also went to George Miller, Chairman of the House Committee on Education & Labor; Howard McKean, Ranking Republican Member of the House Committee on Education & Labor; Edward Kennedy, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor & Pensions; and Michael B. Enzi, Ranking Member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions Committee.
