The University of Oklahoma (Norman campus) has an opening for the following position:



Listing Title:          Financial Aid Specialist I
Internal Title:      Senior Application Analyst



Application Deadline:           Open Until Filled


Work Schedule:          Monday through Friday - 8 AM to 5 PM


Annual Salary Range:            $28,000 - $32,000    depending on qualifications and experience

Description:

 *   Position is responsible for the evaluation of applications for various types of financial aid including loans, grants, scholarships, and work study for all grade levels on the Norman campus.
 *   It also requires the evaluation of documents related to the financial aid process including but not limited to federal income tax returns, citizenship documents, and veteran's benefits as well as the ability to use "Professional Judgment" within Federal guidelines in addressing specific student and parent financial and personal situations.
 *   This position also assists in training of new staff members.

 Qualfications :

 *   Bachelor's degree;  at least 12 months experience in Financial Aid, Bursar/College Business office, lending institution or college Student Services.
 *   Proficiency in Banner Student Services Systems is preferred.
