Rogers State University has an exceptional opportunity for two Financial
Aid Counselors. The successful candidates will assist in the general
administration of federal, state, institution, and private financial aid
programs to students. 

The Financial Aid Counselors will performs various functions; including,
but not limited to:

*	counseling students and parents on the financial aid application
process, either in person or by other means 
*	answering incoming calls and resolving any questions related to
financial concerns 
*	reviewing applications, packaging awards, exercising
professional judgment and utilizing the computer information database
system 
*	giving presentations at student functions such as college fairs,
high school visits, and financial aid seminars 
*	performing other related duties as directed by the Director of
Financial Aid 

To qualify an applicant must have at least an Associate's Degree or
experience in similar position. Knowledge of federal and state
regulations is preferred. Experience with Pell origination and
disbursement as well as scholarship application and fund management is
desired. Excellent organizational, customer service and oral and written
communication skills is a must. Knowledge of software packages and quick
study on dos based programs is also helpful. Applicants must have
excellent communication, telephone, and people skills with the ability
to be flexible.
