[Oasfaa] Bankruptcy

Ok I need confirmation on my understanding of a situation.  I have a student
who shows her student loans on NSLDS as (active bankruptcy status).  From
what I can find in the handbook she is eligible for loans as long as she is
not in default.  How do I know if they are in default?  Will it show up on
NSLDS as one of the indicator flags?  And does she have to provide any type
of proof of anything?
