DATA TECHNICIAN

Job Summary:

 *   Performs initial review, analysis, and verification of financial aid applications.  Accurately transfers a variety of information from a number of different documents and reports to the computer system.
 *   Prepares letters to applicants/parents as needed. Verifies addresses.
 *   Assists in the preparation of documents for scanning.  Performs scanning functions.

Qualifications:
*         High School Diploma or Equivalent.
*         Three years related clerical experience.
*         Good communication skills and attention to detail highly desirable.
*         Experience with state and/or federal regulations, specifically financial aid application processes preferred.
*         Knowledge of document imaging systems.
*         Typing test recommended.
*         Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
