Minimum Qualifications:
One year financial or customer service experience
Excellent customer service skills
Knowledge and/or experience maintaining record keeping systems with the ability to analyze and compile information for storage and completion of reports
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
Critical Thinking Skills


Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a for profit financial aid environment
Two year degree in a related area (business, finance, accounting, management)

Major Duties:
Counsel future, current, and former students regarding their Financial Aid
Coordinate with other departments to meet student needs
Maintain student data base
Perform duties related to Financial Aid such as withdrawal calculations, processing FAFSA and loan applications, deposits, monthly and weekly reporting, while maintaining compliance with federal regulations
