Ok, I forgot and broke the cardinal rule:  "Thou shalt not joke around on the listserv during the week the FISAP is due."  

About the tax transcript issue--- has anyone enlisted the help of a congressional office?  A bazillion years ago when I worked for the IRS, the rule among ALL federal agencies was that an inquiry from a Congressional office had to be responded to within 48 or 72 hours. Very big deal, hand-carried from office to office.   Initiating one has to come from the taxpayer.  I've been reading the horror stories on Finaid-L , so remember it is an option in really bad cases.
