Very well said, Larry! The friendships and memories are some of the best parts.
I certainly remember times and you “lurkers” and treasure the memories and lessons received. Thanks for continuing the interest in OASFAA and creating great traffic on the website today!

You know, the new generation of OASFAA members reading all this are probably thinking “who are these people who are hijacking our listserv”? All I can say is, we’re lurking, keeping our eye on you. Your predecessors in financial aid formed wonderful friendships and had some great times together! We urge you to do the same. Don’t be shy. Take some chances. Step out and have some fun. Expand your comfort zone. Get to know each other. Some of you quiet ones be the volunteers for center stage. Sounds like your chance is coming at the spring OASFAA conference, so be bold and make some new memories. You’ll never regret it. Well, actually you might regret it at first, but you’ll get over it. Ha! Best wishes to you all.

I also remember that Larry’s boots somehow ended up on his wrong feet and he imagined a chicken was hatching in the lap of the person next to him. I also remember laughing so hard I had sore muscles the next day. Aren’t you glad you opened up this can or worms Larry? I’m glad. It’s good to visit some really good times in our past.

Ha ha ha ha!! The only April Fools joke here so far is Webber's claim he was too young to remember all this! I remember Larry's performance well and I think it includes his debut to the OASFAA audience of his country and western singing…. good times!!!
