The following email was sent out last week, but I've discovered it didn't reach everyone.  This email explains the conference costs and contact information for hotel reservations.  Conference registration will be available within the next day or two.  If you've already registered, please note that you'll need to register again.  Some of the information currently shown on the OASFAA site is being adjusted.  I'll notify you once everything is up and running and you  may register at that time.  Thanks for your patience!

Hello OASFAA,

The OASFAA Spring Conference, "The Spirit of Oklahoma", will be held April 23-25 at the Reed Center in Midwest City. Room reservations for the Sheraton Midwest City Hotel are now open and you may reserve a room by calling 1-800-325-3535 or logging on at https://www.starwoodmeeting.com/StarGroupsWeb/booking/reservation?id=1403102719&key=53C0F.  Please use the OASFAA conference code, OAD22A, or indicate you're with the Oklahoma Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators conference. The room rate will be $81 per night with a cut-off date of March 30. The Sheraton Midwest City Hotel will offer free Wi-Fi service to all hotel rooms, but the conference center itself will not . A tentative agenda has been attached. Exhibit hours aren't shown, but set-up will begin Wednesday morning and teardown will take place after the last break on Thursday afternoon.

The Spring Conference service project involves providing assistance to Briarwood Elementary and Plaza Towers Elementary schools in Moore, both of which were greatly affected by the May tornadoes that ravaged our state this past year.  We're preparing gift baskets, for which the association can buy tickets. Money received from the tickets will be donated to both schools. To add a little friendly competition to the event, we're putting teams together to encourage increased donations.  If you or your company is able to provide a small gift basket, that would be very beneficial.

The OASFAA exhibitor registration should be on our website, http://oasfaaok.org/, early next week.  An email will be sent to notify you when it's available.  Costs for the 2014 spring conference will be as follows:
                                                                                                $150 Member registration
                                                                                                $200 Non-member registration
                                                                                                $200 Exhibit fee
                                                                                                $25 Electricity
