Autry Technology Center seeks a Financial Aid Officer to be responsible for assembling and maintaining student aid records, assessing eligibility of applicants for aid, authorizing aid, completing reports, and designing and implementing systems to accomplish these tasks.  This position requires knowledge of federal regulations, institutional policies and procedures, ability to deal with clients about sensitive issues and ability to deal with continually changing program regulations.

Must be able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Must have the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals, using correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation.  Must also have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, clients, customers, and the general public.

Bachelor's degree preferred.  Financial aid experience preferred.  Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) required.  Bilingual preferred.
