Hello SWASFAA friends!

Can you believe the Annual Conference, Boot Camp, and Leadership Development are less than TWO months away? As a financial aid professional, you already know how things are constantly changing in our field. With those changes, our knowledge base needs to accommodate the most recent federal regulations along with remembering the nuances that build a solid foundation. Whether you are a new to the business or are a veteran, Boot Camp is the place for you!

During the fun-filled two and a half days, Boot Camp will provide you with basic financial aid knowledge beginning with the FAFSA application all the way through Return of Title IV. While we will be covering a vast amount of information in a short amount of time, don’t worry! You will receive all the NASFAA Core materials as a take-away so you can continue the “Parade of Knowledge” after Boot Camp. Please visit the Boot Camp Agenda to find out more on the topics your SWASFAA trainers will be covering. Another incredible opportunity for Boot Camp attendees is to take the NASFAA credential test for the modules that are taught by a NASFAA credentialed instructor at no cost to you! I would encourage you to look into being credentialed through NASFAA University and to take advantage of this offer.

I do hope you will join us for a wonderful time in New Orleans. Through this experience you will not only gain invaluable knowledge regarding Financial Aid, you will also have a chance to experience the amazing culture of New Orleans (and don’t forget about the FOOD)!
