[Oasfaa] BBAY question

We don't currently have BBAY (Borrower Based Academic Year) programs, but my admin wants us to consider programs that would be BBAY. I do NOT want to get into this arena and have stated that, but now meetings are being called so I need more concrete Pros and Cons to state my case. I have some experience from my time at St. Gregs and I'm not a fan, but I need more than that to convince my admin. 

So, if you have such programs or have chosen not to for some reasons or if you have them and wish you didn't, please respond with a summary of your pros and cons.
