[Oasfaa] Gainful Employment Transitional Certification Requirement

Hi Financial Aid Friends,

Good for You, for those institutions that do not have ANY GE Programs to meet reporting and other GE federal requirements.  I finally got my GE Reporting squared away, but I missed the a June 11th Electronic Announcement #54, and was reminded of this requirement due by December 31st, 2015, when I called DOE with a question related to reporting on our 1 GE Program to meet the July 31st deadline.  This Certification is required unless you had a new Program Participation Agreement (PPA) executed between July 1, 2015 and December 31, 2015 that lists your GE Programs.

So, thought I would just put a reminder out there about Electronic Announcement #54 - Certification Requirements signed/dated by your President for Gainful Employment Programs;  http://www.ifap.ed.gov/eannouncements/061115GECertificationsFinalJune9.html .

Make note of the Sample GE Transitional Certification at the end of the Announcement that makes it simple to do.  Just plug your school name in, and put on your letterhead, with President's sig, scan, and email to GECertification at ed.gov.
