I have heard of companies like this. 



So has the Secretary of Education how put a warning about them on his blog: 









Technically, these companies are not breaking the law UNLESS they misrepresent that they are working for ED or FSA or on our behalf.

This ad popped up on an alumni's Instagram. I called them and basically understood that if a student pays them $599, they will help them enroll in an IBR plan, etc. I asked why a students wouldn't do this on their own with the help of their servicer and he said because it's confusing and they can't figure it out. He's "worked there for "months" and knows all about the process."
