[Oasfaa] Scholarship Limit?

Jonna,

Yes, we have had a tremendous amount of appeals in recent years mostly due to students wanting to double and triple major.

Our scholarships are for 8 semesters.

We have two programs that require 10 semesters, they receive 10 semesters of scholarships.   We have a Presidential Scholarship that is full tuition, room and board that is for 8 semesters.  They are not included in this appeal policy.

Our board recently approved for the 5th year, upon appeal, institutional scholarships may be reinstated up to two semesters at a value of 50%.  Scholarship funding is finished after the 5th year.

We currently limit students to 8 semesters for institutional scholarships. I'm sure most of you have this info on your website, but it's easier for me to just ask.

I have 2 questions for the four year schools.

1. Do you have a limit on your scholarships? If so, what is it?


2. If you have a limit, do you allow appeals for a fifth year?

Ok, so technically, that's 3 questions. [Laughing]
