Director of Student Financial Aid, Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology - Okmulgee
Salary Range: $48,000-$52,000; however, salary outside of the range will be considered for candidates with experience using Banner for financial aid
GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides leadership for Student Financial Services Office, and oversees the administration of all student financial aid programs. Provides counseling, information, and customer service to students, parents, faculty, staff and administration regarding all types of student financial aid. Publicizes and markets student financial aid programs by providing on-campus and off-campus workshops and financial aid
presentations to high schools, businesses, career day programs, departments and divisions. Interprets, develops, implements, and monitors institution policies and procedures to ensure that the institution maintains compliance with state and federal policies related to student financial aid program.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university required.
· Three years of progressively responsible administrative or managerial experience in a higher education financial aid office.
· Three years of experience utilizing federal financial aid application and student loan delivery systems including National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS), Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) SAR and ISIR files, Student Aid Internet Gateway (SAIG), EDconnect, Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) systems.
· Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of financial aid regulations and related laws, and ability to made independent judgments and decisions.
