Below is a link to a press release about Oklahoma's Promise Day at the State Capitol yesterday.  We appreciate the efforts of so many to make the day successful.   The OKPromise college students that come to the capitol to meet and speak with their legislators are great representatives for the program.  We believe that the students are truly making a difference in how the program is perceived by our state legislators.  Attached are a few photos from the day.  As the caption below describes, photo #2 features Sen. Jason Smalley and Rep. Katie Henke speaking with students.  Sen. Smalley and Rep. Henke are the legislative authors of this session's OKPromise bill (SB 529) that would increase the family income limit to apply for the program, among other changes.
