On behalf of the R4T Fund executive committee, we are super, super excited to announce the opening of the R4T Fund for student applications effective July 1, 2017!!! We extend our deepest thanks to our R4T Fund Chair, Melissa Johnson, who has been the driving force behind securing donors. For your information, pertinent funding guidelines and the student application are attached. We encourage you to share this information with foster alumni students at your campus as you determine it would be useful for resolving financial issues for which the Fund is designed (see attached guidelines).



To assist with informing key personnel who serve foster alumni on Oklahoma campuses, we will also be disbursing the attached information to college financial aid offices, advising offices, and through COSA (hopefully). If you have other suggestions, please let us know.



Please be sure that all application materials and related questions are sent directly to the R4T email (risforthursday at okstate.edu<mailto:risforthursday at okstate.edu>) as that is the email that will be monitored for this information.



As a reminder, we encourage all campuses to pursue the establishment of on-campus emergency funds for their foster alumni students. The R4T Fund is a statewide fund intended to be a final safety net behind other on-campus assistance. Suggested processes for working with your Foundation or Advancement Team will be available this fall through the R4T online training.
