[Oasfaa] Travel policies

This past year, OU issued anyone traveling a credit card to charge all travel purchases against.  If you over-charge anything, the balance comes out of your paycheck once you file the travel claim.  Prior to this, we had to pay 100% out of pocket and get reimbursed.

Designated UCO staff for the different department areas have a school credit card that covers hotel billings, so employees only have to deal with reimbursements for per diem, baggage charges, ground travel, and parking.

State Colleges and Universities:

Just wondering how many of you have to put your personal credit card information in to reserve your room for conferences?  The designated hotels require a one night deposit which is charged at the time of reservation and this is an issue for some employees as they will not be reimbursed until a week or so after we return.

I'm not sure if this is our school policy or if it is a state policy.
