Good Afternoon,

Rogers State University is accepting applications for a Scholarship and Grant Coordinator in the Financial Aid Department. The Scholarship and Grant Coordinator will serve as the primary source for the efficient delivery, coordination and oversight of scholarships awarded through the Financial Aid Office and for the administration of federal and state grant funds.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

*Knowledge of federal Title IV regulations and state grant and scholarship policy.
*Strong organizational, computer and technology skills, experience with computerized financial aid management systems is required, experience with PowerFAIDS preferred.
*Excellent organizational, customer service, oral and written communication skills.
*Have the ability to problem-solve, work independently and as a member of a team.


Required Degree:       Bachelor degree required.

Essential Duties:

Primary Duties:

*Performs various functions related to scholarships and grants; including, but not limited to managing funds according to federal, state, university and OSRHE policies
*Establish and coordinate operational processes related to the administration of institutional scholarships and grants
*Assist with computer software set-up and maintenance
*Responsible for reconciling funds, monitoring and adjusting funds as necessary
*May be asked to give presentations at student functions such as college fairs, high school visits, and financial aid workshops
*Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Financial Aid, Assistant Director of Financial Aid or Vice President of Enrollment Management

Specific Duties:

*Possess knowledge of Title IV grant regulations and OSRHE scholarship policies
*Act as a liaison with the RSU Foundation for Endowments, Restricted and Unrestricted scholarships.
*Provide insight for Admissions and Registrar to assist with recruiting and retention efforts.
*Identify eligible recipients of scholarships.
*Oversee institutional scholarship funding levels, the application process, and identification of qualified applicant pools.
