As SWASFAA continues its transition from the previous web platform to the new, a GoogleGroup will take the place of the prior SWASFAA listserv vehicle that was previously available on the SWASFAA website. I encourage you to sign up for the Group to stay in the loop on discussions within the SWASFAA community.

Dear Mendy Schmerer,

Need to send out an email to all of SWASFAA? Missing the listserv? Since converting to our new webpage, we have lost access to a listserv email.

Because we know that connecting with fellow members is a key benefit of membership, we have created a GoogleGroup (think of it as our listserv) so that you can send out emails for subscribers to see and respond to.

To sign up for our GoogleGroup (listserv) please follow these steps:

2. Sign up for Google Groups by using either your work email or a personal email. Note: if your institution has strong SPAM filters, consider using your personal email address. If you use GMAIL, sign in with user name and password (not recommended).

If work Email – Create account (This will be for GROUPS only)

  *   For myself
  *   Enter in first name and last name. Select “use my current email address instead” (THIS IS YOUR WORK EMAIL)
  *   Create password and confirm
  *   Agree to Terms and Conditions
3. Click on link in #1

4. Select Apply for Membership (screen shot below)

5. You will receive an email when join request approved
