[Oasfaa] VA 85/15 Rule

We are a bit behind on the new 85/15 rules with VA... Our primary SCO left and we have been in a bit of limbo. Anyway, now that we have to count all of our payment plan students as "supported" it has made essentially every program over the 85/15 limit for us. Almost all of our students participate in a payment plan. Has anyone found anything that we might be missing or a way to navigate these new rules as to not negatively impact new incoming VA students? We just want to be sure we have looked at everything before we notify our new students they would not be eligible to receive VA benefits in the fall due to this issue.

For those of you who are attending the NASFAA conference later this month (later this month?? How is it June??), this is a great opportunity – on either side of the arrangement as a first-time attendee or as someone who has several conferences under their belt. You may not be new to financial aid, but this gives you a chance to be paired with a colleague and creates a really fun reason to chat with someone you may or may not otherwise get the opportunity to meet.
