[Oasfaa] Oklahoma's Promise Day at the Capitol

Good morning,



As you may already know, Oklahoma's Promise Day at the State Capitol is scheduled for Thursday, April 11. The purpose of the event is to provide an opportunity for students receiving the Oklahoma's Promise scholarship to show their support of and appreciation for the program and to encourage elected officials to continue keeping the promise to Oklahoma students.



Below, please find a schedule of events for Oklahoma's Promise Day at the State Capitol on Thursday, April 11:



9:00 a.m.

I have attached the following materials to assist your institution in preparing for Oklahoma's Promise Day:

  *   An invitation to share with your students and campus stakeholders,
  *   A schedule outlining the events for the day,
*         A set of basic instructions for participating students that includes the hashtag for the Oklahoma's Promise Day social media campaign (#OKPromiseWorks),

  *   A quarter-page appreciation card for students to leave with legislators (print double-sided), and
  *   Contact information lists for House and Senate members with corresponding room numbers.



I hope this information will be useful to you and your campus groups as you participate in Oklahoma's Promise Day.
