[Oasfaa] Pell Originations COD Reject Issue

OASFAA,

I just wanted to make you all aware of a situation that I have seen on several list serves and chats.

FSA is aware of an issue that schools are receiving a reject code 038 when submitting Pell Originations this past week. The issue has to do with ISIRs processed the week of 8/19. Any ISIR processed that week could result in an error when trying to originate Pell. The issue is a communication between FPS and COD.

The advice given from FSA is to suspend sending any originations until the issue is resolved. No official announcement has been published, I just felt OASFAA needed to know.
