The University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio, invites applications for the
positions of Associate Director of Student Scholarships and Financial Aid
Counselor. These are regular full-time twelve-month professional positions
in the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.
Associate Director of Student Scholarships - Job Reference # A-1019 - As a
member of the enrollment management team and reporting to the Director of
Financial Aid, this is a key position playing a major role in the overall
management of the student financial assistance program. Primary
responsibilities include directing activities that relate to the
development, management, coordination, and supervision of merit-based
scholarship programs for undergraduate students.
Bachelor degree required. Preference given to persons with master degree
and five to seven years of related experience. Desired qualifications
include excellent interpersonal communication skills, a collegial
leadership style that values collaborative decision making, general
knowledge of financial aid, admissions, and student recruitment,
demonstrated success in working effectively with students, parents, faculty
and staff, familiarity with large-scale database software products, and a
strong commitment to serving the public and promoting higher education to a
diverse population.

Hiring Range: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and
experience

Financial Aid Counselor (2 positions) Job Reference # P-1040 - This
position is responsible to assist in the general administration of federal,
state, institution, and private financial aid programs for students.
Primary responsibilities include counseling students and parents on the
financial aid application process, reviewing applications, packaging
awards, giving presentations at student recruitment functions such as
college fairs, high school visits, and financial aid seminars.
Bachelor degree required. Preference given to persons with master degree
and two to three years of related experience. Desired qualifications
include general knowledge of financial aid, excellent interpersonal
communication skills, demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks,
experience with computer software programs, and strong customer-oriented
approach.
