Yes, it's that time again, when the weather cools off, 
the leaves start to turn, and I torment my buddy by 
announcing her birthday on the listserv.  It's hard to 
believe, but this year our friendship is 17 years old! 

Tuesday, September 11 is Mary Mowdy's birthday, 
so be sure and wish her a happy one (or is that a "merry
