[Oasfaa] Scholarship Task Force Report

Attached is the final report of the Task Force on State Scholarships and
Student Aid Grant Programs.  The report was delivered today to the offices
of the Governor, House Speaker, and Senate President Pro Tempore.

The Task Force was created by SB 149 of the 2001 legislative session.  The
legislation called for the Task Force to evaluate the effectiveness of
Oklahoma's student aid programs toward the goal of increasing the number of
college graduates in Oklahoma.  The Task Force met during the legislative
interim period and produced the attached report of findings and
recommendations.

Thanks go to OASFAA members Dean Fisher (Rose State), Matt Hamilton
(University of Oklahoma), and Janet Dehnert (NHELP) for their work as
members of the Task Force.

Also attached is a sample of the cover letter from Chancellor Brisch that
accompanied the report.  Both documents are provided in two formats-- one in
Microsoft Word and the other in Rich Text Format (RTF).
