[Oasfaa] Amended 2002-2003 OTAG Award Payment Schedules

Good Afternoon,

As Bryce reported earlier, yesterday the State Regents approved an amendment to OTAG program policy as it relates to the annual award cap for students attending independent colleges and universities.  As a result of this policy amendment, the attached 2002-2003 OTAG award payment schedules (EFC and EFI) have been revised to incorporate the change.  The award cap remains $1,000 for students attending public colleges, universities, and career technology institutions.

The necessary modifications to the 2002-2003 programming and database system are underway.  Our IT staff have indicated that it will take approximately three weeks to reprogram for calculating awards at this higher rate.  We will necessarily delay the processing of awards for students at the independent colleges until awards can be appropriately calculated to reflect the new rate on Award Rosters and student award notices.  The awarding process will continue as normal for all other students.
