Director - Student Financial Services

The University of Southern Colorado seeks a Director of Student Financial Services.  This position is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the Office of Student Financial Services, which includes the following areas: Student Financial Counseling, Scholarship Office, Veteran's Affairs, and Student Employment.

Strong leadership skills are a must.  In the capacity of Director of Student Financial Services, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
managing financial aid programs, all reporting and data analysis, recruitment and retention planning, accounts analysis, database management, supervision of staff, campus assistance and high school visits.

Qualifications: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Business or related field is required.  Master's degree is preferred.  Must have 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a Financial Aid Office.  Extensive knowledge of the PowerFaids Financial Aid System is required, as well as demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.  Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
