[Oasfaa] October 24 NASFAA/SWASFAA Training + Videoconference

In an effort to maximize your time and budget outlay, OASFAA is offering the
Fall 2002 NASFAA Training Series workshop in conjunction with the FSA
Application Processing System videoconference "What's New for 2003-04" on
October 24, 2002 at Moore-Norman Technology Center.

SWASFAA sponsors the NASFAA Training Series in our region, providing the
funding for trainers to participate.  Each state hosts its own workshop,
chargining only enough to cover the cost of materials and refreshments.
OASFAA is sponsoring the delivery of the FSA Videoconference with support
from OSLA and its lending partners BancFirst, Bank One and Bank of America. 

You can attend the workshop and the videoconference, or join us only for the
videoconference.  The registration form and additional information is
attached as a PDF document. NOTE THAT YOU CAN ONLY REGISTER TO ATTEND THE
VIDEOCONFERENCE VIA THE OASFAA REGISTRATION FORM.  Because of the unique
nature of our combined training, we are not allowing persons to register for
the videoconference on-line at the FSA registration site. 

SEATING AND MATERIALS ARE LIMITED.  EARLY REGISTRATION IS ENCOURAGED!

The topic of the workshop is "Treatment of Resources and Packaging
Considerations", a timely issue for all aid offices.  The trainer will be
OASFAA's own Larry Hollingsworth, Director of Student Financial Services at
Oklahoma Baptist University, along with another trainer from the SWASFAA
region.  

Full descriptions of the workshop and the videoconference are included with
the registration form.  As you will see, we've scheduled the workshop to end
at 5 p.m.  Because we are including the videoconference, our training will
probably stretch longer than our usual 3:30-4:00 ending time;  Larry has
promised to try to end as early as possible while still giving you the full
value of your training dollar.
