[Oasfaa] Parent SS#

Good Afternoon,
I visited with a parent today who is concerned about his SS# being on 
his son's ISIR and his son having access to this personal bit of 
information.  The student has not lived in the home for over 2 years due 
to differences between he and his dad.  I didn't get into what they are, 
but the dad indicated that he will give our office his tax information 
but has great concerns over his son having access to his SS#.  He may 
have valid reasons for this, I don't know.  

It seems like the Dept of Ed should be able to hide that field when an 
ISIR is being sent to the student.  I can understand the man's point. 
 What do you suggest we do???????
