FINANCIAL AID MANAGEMENT ADMINISTRATOR
The Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado, invites nominations and applications for the position of Financial Aid Management Administrator. CSM is a public institution offering bachelors, masters and PhD degrees. The enrolment is approximately 2,200 undergraduates and 800 graduate students.
The Financial Aid Management Administrator provides data analysis and technical services in support of all functions of the Financial Aid Office, including compliance with federal and state regulations. The Administrator will create reports and databases using CONNX and MS Access, and integrate FOCUS reports with these functions. Web site maintenance and upgrade is also involved. This position will view overall office procedures and determine and recommend where and in what ways technical resources can best be utilized.
This position also manages the operating budget for the Financial Aid Office, and will be involved in some management functions of the work-study program.
Qualifications for the position include a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years experience in higher education. A demonstrated proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel a must. Prior experience with web site maintenance and the SIS+ computer system a plus. Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment, and possess strong communications skills.
This is an exempt position in the Colorado State Personal System, not classified. Excellent salary and benefits.
