Ensures timely and efficient delivery of services; oversees quality control, compliance and system integrity for the scholarships unit. Trains staff on guidelines, policies, procedures and general departmental functions. Participates on the Financial Aid Office Management Team; assists in the planning, organization, implementation and evaluation of departmental processes, activities and other functions. Prepares the schedule of activities and maintains an operations calendar for the scholarships office. <SPAN class=GramE>Acts as the liaison between Scholarships and Financial Aid and related internal departments and external entities.</SPAN> <SPAN class=GramE>Counsels</SPAN> students, prospective students and their families regarding services provided. Performs other job related duties as assigned.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>This position requires a 4 year degree from a college or university or an in depth <SPAN class=GramE>specialized</SPAN> training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed and a minimum of one year directly related job experience.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes"> </SPAN>This is a security sensitive position and a background check will be conducted.<o:p></o:p></P>
