<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">I was admonished at OASFAA for failing to keep the association amused on the listserv lately. My sincerest apologies. So, here goes. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Last week, David Horn was telling me about his latest trip and we discussed boarding our dogs, the services, how the dogs behave (or don't behave in my case) and the cost.....David pays $10 per day and I thought that was about what we paid. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">This weekend, we went to the kennel to pick up our three dogs. Knowing that our little urchins will be crazed when we see them, we try to take care of the payment stuff first. The kennel worker pulls up our account and says "have your boarded them here before?" Me: "Yes, many times." </FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Kennel worker: "Did you have anything special done while they were here?" </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Me: "No, no grooming, toenail painting or any of that stuff, just the boarding fees." </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Kennel worker: "Well, this is really weird, something must be wrong because the computer says your bill is $4,860." </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Me: "Yeah, I definitely think that's wrong!" </FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">My husband: " Hey, we told them not to let Bismarck order any pizzas. Let me guess, Spanky was ordering adult movies on the pay per view!" </FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Me: "Or, Lily managed to get to a phone while watching the Home Shopping Network, you know what a shopper she is!" </FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Arial">Turns out that "the new girl" incorrectly entered our rate in the computer as $1200.00 per day instead of $12.00 per day. So, David, I think the prices in Okmulgee are WAAAAY better than the prices in Norman.....and watch out for that "new girl", she could really cost you!!!</FONT></P>
